Any of our teas can be made into
iced tea. Simply follow the directions for brewing hot tea but use
twice as much tea (2 teaspoons per cup of water) to account for dilution
by ice. Add generous amounts of ice and garnish with lemon or mint.
NOTE: Always drink ice tea immediately after brewing. Antioxidants
tend to break down quickly, so iced tea left on the refrigerator shelf
may loose many of its health benefits. Avoid pre-bottled or powdered
ice tea as they contain little, if any, antioxidants and are often
saturated with chemicals and sugar.
